Load balancers

Prices are final. VPS GB is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

A load balancer sits in front of several of your servers and spreads traffic across them. When one stops answering it is taken out of rotation until it recovers, so a single server failing stops being an outage.

Internal traffic only, for now. A load balancer here balances traffic between your own servers on your own private network. It does not come with an address reachable from the internet yet — if that is what you need, talk to us before ordering rather than after.
1 · Plan
Every plan has health checks and takes TCP, HTTP, HTTPS (passed through to your servers) and UDP. The plan sets how many ports it listens on and how many servers can sit behind each.
2 · Details How it is listed on your dashboard and your invoice. London (lon1) — hardware we own and run in the UK, the same region as your servers. It is our only region, so there is nothing to choose.
3 · Set it up now (optional)
Choose a listener and the servers behind it Leave this alone and we build the balancer and stop there; you can add a listener and choose servers on its page whenever you like.
Once you have an account, the servers on it are listed here to choose from.

Billed monthly from the day your load balancer goes live, and renews automatically. The price above is the whole price: we do not bill per connection or per gigabyte.

HTTPS is passed straight through to your servers, which keep their own certificates. We do not currently terminate TLS at the load balancer.
